The food Gods treated us to some very nice Thai cuisine tonight. In some ways they actually kept our family alive. I say this because we had reached a high level of hunger and if we waited to get home, Claudia would have made an amazing dinner but we might have been pushed past our breaking point. She knew this and made the suggestion for us to stop for a family dinner out. Everything from the service to the pacing of the food was very nice. The only short coming to this place was their cheesy name:

It easily ranks up there with the classics like 'Pick Up Stix' and 'Popeye's Chicken'. I guess it is hard to get it all right.

We surprised Matisse and took him up to be in snow for the first time. It turned out to be a perfect day, with just enough sun and plenty of soft snow to play in. You could tell early on that Matisse understand that this was pretty cool and that he was lucky to be hanging out in this special place.

Outside of the cool energy he was taking in, he was also taking in the tradition of snow ball throwing pretty well too. It did not take long for him to became surprisingly consistent with nailing me in the head. He also knew to run like the wind when I starting building my ammo!

The rain has been steady for the last two days. A third day would be considered a crisis level for SoCal. With a nice bottle of wine, some good music and this layout; all is good in the world.

There are certain things you just come to expect in California like:

-Traffic on the 405, 5, 91, 10, 60, 210 & 605

-A weekly event of a yogurt shop opening and one going out of business

-Regular person becoming famous for no reason can almost always count on the sun coming out to showcase her brilliance. Recently it seems as if the sun partied too hard and has no energy to strut her stuff.
